I have a bob pet version from groupon, I love it dog not so much, turn it on and away he goes cleaning both carpet and kitchen, then returning for a charge and off he goes again. but sadly his right wheel has stopped running he just goes in circle. He is down and out until new parts arrive. I have noticed he seems to have gotten a bit loader than he was when I first got him, and he is slower on the carpet then he was originally. might be time for a new battery to give him so more juice or power. I only wish he responded to voice commands to keep him from getting stuck, and on that note I had to remove bottom of stove he loved to just go in kitchen and get stuck under there, also the dishwasher door must be open or he will get stuck there as well. he needs eyes on top to see if he fits under stuff before he gets stuck. he does love to seek out those cords.
I got my Bobsweep pet hair a few weeks ago. While it is great in some ways (I can watch it vacuum while I do other things), it has really had more downsides than I hoped. First, it gets stuck on ledges and will eat small cords. I have tried the suggested solutions from customer service for these (taping back the rubber flap, blocking areas off), but the flap trick doesn’t help keep it off the ledges and blocking areas off can get tiresome.
I’ve only had it for a few weeks, and the battery life seems much worse already than when I first got it.
While it does a decent job of collecting dirt and dust, and it means I can do other things while I vacuum, it has been disappointing on the whole. I can’t leave it unattended, and the battery barely lasts for two 20 minute cycles.
It has made me love the concept of a robotic vacuum though- hopefully I can find one that does what I wanted.
My wife bought be a BobSweep pethair for my birthday, charged it up and ran it.. Worked fine, but now when it charges the brush constantly runs on or off of the docking station. I have to manually turn if off to stop the brush from running. Gonna call tech support once they open, but this is a really bad sign for a brand new out of the box product.
I bought Bobsweep on Groupon amost half year ago. Basically I am satified with it in terms of the money I paid. It works great and have not broken down like some other users here. But I found a few issues:
It will not avoid cables/wires
It has some trouble to get on area rug (I just have a normal area rug on the hardwood floor)
The last but not the least, it will not return to the charging station after it finishes vacuuming.
I hopefully the product will improve in the next version.
Also is there any setting I need to look into it for Bob returning to the charging station?
