We got the bObi in white color and she works like a charm. Very smooth and silent but she work better than you expect!
Over the past 3 weeks we have really enjoyed using our new bObsweep PetHair. We have 3 dogs with lots of shedding hair, and I am amazed by how much it keeps the dog hair at bay in between sweeping and vacuuming. I also enjoy not having the drag out the huge vacuum as often. It’s like having a personal maid that vacuums the house while I get other things done. This product is money well spent!
just doesn’t work well at all. I’m not happy at all, it worked a couple of times, doesn’t hold charge and only has one speed.
the brusses got stuck in a rug and I had to cut them free. I had a natural disaster have me out of the house for 6 months- I kept in storage. Tried again this week and it just sucks. NOT happy and this was EXPENSIVE!
We bought the Bobi pet. So far so good…. It won’t replace a real vacuuming but it sure helps keep things looking nice in between. We haven’t tried the mopping function and probably won’t given how it moves as I expect it’ll cross over it’s own path leaving marks. Also doubt it’ll have sufficient pressure to make it worth the bother.
Pros:
- battery life (so far). We’ve run it every day for the last month. Goes for about 2 hours before switching into Juice mode.
- randomness – over the course of 2 – 3 runs, it does a pretty good job at covering our 2700 sq ft house.
- vacuuming tile floor and surface of rugs & runners
- recognizes light colored objects (baseboards, doors, etc) without bumping into them
- price given what it does well (light sweeping)
Cons:
- doesn’t seem to recognize dark objects (chair or table legs, our black dog, etc) so it spends lots of time bumping into or pushing forever against these things and knocking over some of the lighter objects
- often gets caught in / on light rugs or floor coverings.
- every once and awhile it gets stuck for no apparent reason… spins and circles in a fixed spot, often bumping up against an immovable piece of furniture
Nits:
- it’s a 50-50 chance that it’ll find it’s way back to the charger on its own before running out of battery. Think is is more a case of the logic it follows trying to get home than the amount of battery life it has before switching into Juice mode
- when it does find its way home it often doesn’t seat itself properly to charge… I think this is because it comes in too fast and for some reason it elevates the front as it pushes against the base. The base is against a wall with baseboards that rise up only half way on its back… so it tips slightly backward.
- tried the Bobi block a couple times with varying results. Part of the issue is that its beam is quite spread out (tight at the block and wider as you move out) so it’s not like it creates a straight line… you need to guess how wide it is depending on where and how you are using it.
We love our BoBsweep PetHair. It is an invaluable tool in keeping our home pet hair free. We have 3 dogs with all types and colors of hair. The BobSweep works on them all. I love that you can schedule it to vacuum when you are gone sis it returns to the charging area. This product is not only genius but also aesthetically pleasing. BobSweep is must to keep the pet hair at bay.
